Jonathan Lucas (Bio)

Jonathan Lucas, J.D., is the Principal of the Summit Consulting Group, LLC.

Lucas has extensive experience in the political, policy development, fundraising and corporate sectors.  He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in Political Science.  Lucas subsequently completed his Juris Doctorate at North Carolina Central School of Law.  While there, he obtained a specialized certification in Civil Rights and Constitutional Law.  Having worked in the political arena since 1998, Lucas has advised and fundraised for many political campaigns including Presidential candidate John Edwards, Gov. Bev Perdue, Congressman Brad Miller, Gov. Mike Easley, Congressman David Price and State Auditor Beth Wood.
